I come from an immigrant, multicultural and multi-linguistic family. I also emigrated to another country where I lived for about ten years before returning to Montreal. The reality of immigrant and multi-cultural families, the complexity of feeling attachment to several countries/cultures and family realities (pressure, expectations, losses) can seem heavy at times. But with so much beauty, so much to gain!
